Farewell

I graduated today! Yesterday, actually, today we received our diplomas. Four years of highschool are over, I can't believe it. I'm also getting closer to finals. I'm pretty terrified, honestly. But for now, things are good.
It was pouring when I woke up, but that didn't stop me from wearing a skirt and wedges. Almost everybody wore jeans, I guess the rain scared them. We had a pizza after the festivity and took a bunch of awful photos because of the low light. I'm gonna miss those guys.

Roses

I'm so into flowers! They brighten my day with their bright colours and strong perfume. It's amazing to go outside in the evening and feel the perfume of acacia and grapevine flowers. I know it sounds like a clichĂ©, but I love roses. I'm not a big fan of pink, but I couldn't resist not taking some photos when I saw the roses in my garden. They smell delicious, too. You can make rose petal jam out of them. Plus, I've recently bought a remote, so it's much easier for me.

Dexter

Finally, La Chica's got a Meow! In other words, I have a kitty and it is absolutely adorable. I feel...complete, I guess.
I've always wanted a cat, but because my father is allergic to cats, I have never been allowed to get one. Fortunately, last week, my sweet love became more and more aware of my passion for these furry little pets and decided that it was time I got a kitten. Yay!
At first, we wanted a birman cat. However, an owner of this breed warned us that birman cats are picky when it comes to food and they require special treatment, as they are prone to diseases and such. Plus, last saturday when we went to get our kitten, we couldn't contact the owner after already having been delayed. I was so angry I almost burst into tears (nothing hurts more than disappointment, you know?) Anyway, we decided to take home the very first stray kitten we were to encounter. And that's exactly what we did. When I saw my love with a poor furry creature in his arms, my heart melted. A pair of scared green eyes was staring at me. Dexter. Dex. My kitten. Ours. He was dirty and sub-nourished and incredibly shy, but after a good bath and meal, he began purring and cuddling and playing. It's been a week and he seems to grow more and more everyday. He is so playful and adorable! He's a little purring machine at night and a party animal throughout the day.
   I present you *drums* Dexter!

Prom

It's been a week since I went to prom, but I was so busy procrastinating doing school tasks, that I almost forgot posting some photos or even mentioning about it. I can't believe highschool is almost over, but I try to cherish every last bit of my school days.
I've chosen a black lace dress with purple satin underneath and black pumps. Not many accessories, though, I think the dress was the main piece.

Floral Nails Tutorial

....or how to stick real flowers onto your nails.
This tutorial is pretty straightforward. What you need are some small flowers and some topcoat. Tip! Look for tiny flowers that are easy to flatten.
I tried with another type of flowers, but it didn't work. It turned out too...3D. The petals should also be connected. I found (by chance) some cute blue wildflowers (still have no idea what it's called) and brought them home. I simply added a drop of topcoat on my painted nails, put the flower on top, pressed it, sealed it with topcoat and voilĂ !

The right one is with topcoat, the left one sans. You can notice the difference in the color, and it's due to the clear nail polish. The flower turned from blue to some purple-ish tone. Lovely!

They kinda remind me of a herbarium. A wearable one. By the way, the flowers will last as long as you don't do any harsh stuff. Enjoy!
